We are focused on our two main competences in up- and downstream processing: Fermentation and protein purification. We offer sophisticated manufacturing systems for a wide range of viable bacteria and yeasts as well as advanced protein purification and separation techniques (especially for hormones and thrombolytic drugs) including the according in-house R&D and RA competences. Furthermore, we maintain a world-class quality control department capable of performing a wide range of microbiological, biochemical, and chemical tests and analyses. This enables us to offer our customers additional laboratory services.

Manufacturing takes place under regulatory requirements GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) resulting in the highest quality and technical standards.

GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)

Manufacturing takes place under regulatory requirements (GMP; Good Manufacturing Practice) resulting in the highest quality and technical standards. For proteins and microorganisms, we own the manufacturing authorization according to the AMG (Arzneimittelgesetz; german drug law).

We are regularly inspected by the German health authorities and other bodies supervising the manufacturing of biopharmaceutical active ingredients. Each of our products undergoes rigorous testing according to GMP and international pharmacopoeia standards to confirm their identity, purity, and activity to the pharmaceutical grade. This and the validated production procedures ensures highest quality standards.
